According to the analysis of Vietnamese furniture companies, the United States is in a period of strong recovery after the epidemic, and its purchasing power is still recovering. Statistics show that Vietnam has surpassed China in exporting wood products to the U.S. since 2020, and China has been the “king” of such products in the U.S. market for many years.
According to Furniture Today, Vietnam exported $7.4 billion worth of wooden furniture to the United States in 2020, up 31 percent from 2019, surpassing China's $7.33 billion export value and surpassing its import value in the same year. This level of exports from China is down 25% compared to 2019.
