First RCEP Region (Shandong) Import Expo to held in Linyi in August

First RCEP Region (Shandong) Import Expo will be held at Linyi International Expo Center in Linyi City, east China's Shandong Province from August 27 to 29, according to a press conference held by the Information Office of Shandong Provincial People’s Government in Jinan on July 27.

Jointly organized by Linyi Municipal People’s Government, the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province and the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People’s Government, the expo is designed to occupying an area of 25,000 square meters with 1,200 standard booths.

Linyi has successively held nine import expos, setting up platforms including Linyi Imported City, Linyi Integrated Free Trade Zone, and so on. The First RCEP Region (Shandong) Import Expo is expected to give full play to the city's advantages on market purchasing, exhibition economy, trade and logistics.

Before the expo, the First Japan (Shandong) Import Expo will be held by Jinan Municipal People’s Government and the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province at Jinan Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center from August 13 to 16, featuring an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, 600 standard booths, and the participation of more than 300 Japanese enterprises.

In addition, the first South Korea (Shandong) Import Expo will be held by Weihai Municipal People’s Government and the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province from September 10 to 12 at Weihai International Convention and Exhibition Center, featuring an exhibition area of 20, 000 square meters, 800 standard booths, and the participation of 400 Korean enterprises.
