Sveza acquires Tyumen Plywood Plant in Russia from fordaq

Sveza signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Tyumen Plywood Plant from its current owner Almira Karimova.

According to the announcement, Sveza has already requested approval of the transaction with the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (the FAS Russia).

In case of the successful approval, the transaction will become a part of Sveza’s strategic plan for high growth potential asset portfolio expansion.

Tyumen Plywood Plant produces around 90,000 m3 of plywood per year. It plans to expand production to 120,000 m3 in the next years. The company is specialized in a large-format birch plywood.
