Homag Group invests 15 million euros in its location in Schopfloch

The HOMAG Group is planning an innovative new build including a generous customer center at its location in Schopfloch. The ground-breaking ceremony will take place in the second half of 2018 according to the current state of planning, and the new building is expected to be completed by the beginning of 2020. The investment amounts to around 15 million euros.

Spread over two floors, the project will create a total area of around 8,000 m2. An integral part of the new building is a modern and spacious showroom. There is also a meeting center and a new company restaurant.

"We want to showcase our state-of-the-art machinery and equipment as well as innovative production concepts," emphasizes Chairman of the Board Pekka Paasivaara. "Equally important are our software and IoT solutions, which allow us to introduce our customers to their path to digitalization. Added to this is an InnovationCenter for the technologies of tomorrow. With the new premises we want to open up further and create the conditions for a positive dialogue with our existing customers, new customers and other interested target groups. This makes the visit to us a real experience. "
