Austriaian pellet price up in December 2017

In December, in Austria, the ENplus A1 wood pellet retail price increased slightly compared to November.

The Austrian pellets currently cost on average €234.9/tonne or 4.79 cents/kWh (loose, delivery quantity — 6t). The price increased by 0.9% as compared to November 2017 and by 3.6% year-on-year.

The bagged Austrian pellets cost 3.97 EUR per 15 kg bag (ordered in pallets) or 26.49 cents/kg. Thus, their price grew by 0.9% over November 2017 and by 3.8% year-on-year. 

Pellets for commercial use (delivery quantity — 17t) currently cost €199,50/tonne. Their current price is 0.9% higher than in November 2017 and 3.4% higher than in December 2016.

The pellet price index PPI06 stands at 132.13 points.
